Monica Grover MS, OTR/L, SWC is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist based in Los Angeles. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Originally from New Jersey, she made her way to Los Angeles after graduate school. She’s since served as an Occupational Therapist in a wide range of settings, including at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Facility, Sensory Integration Clinics, schools, and a pediatric private practice in Santa Monica.
During these experiences, Monica built her expertise in sensory integration, feeding therapy, general fine motor and gross motor delays, handwriting, reflex integration and social-emotional skills.
Monica also has several specialized skills and certifications beyond her general OT capabilities. In feeding, she holds her Advanced Practice in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation & Intervention (SWC). She utilizes her training from Sequential Oral Sequencing (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Talk Tools, Feeding First Conference and a variety of other oral motor and picky eating courses to guide her practice. She is also trained in Handwriting Without Tears and Lindamood Bell, and enjoys combining the learnings from both courses into a multi-sensory approach to reading and writing.
Monica enjoys working with kids of all ages and capabilities. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach with each family to enhance the development of each child to their fullest potential.
